The German career blog "karrierebibel.de" recenty published my article on how to avoid failure in a course of studies. It refers to studies at a German university (Universität, Technische Universität) or university of applied sciences (Fachhochschule, Hochschule, etc.), so I would not translate it into English. If you are studying in Germany, it might be helpful to read it, even if you are not having problems (or not having them yet). If you don't read it, at least make sure you know, understand and comply with all of your examination regulations because in Germany these are really important, the law & the bible of your study course...
